Jean Paul Gaultier is a legendary designer and has designed some amazing outfits for Kylie Minouge and Nicole Kidman, so when he's exhibition arrived in Australia, we had to see it. Last Thursday we attended the NGV Summer Art Party and were given exclusive night access to the exhibition. 

Each piece was magnificently crafted and extremely intricate, showcasing Jean Paul Gaultier's artistry and attention to detail. Each section highlighted different collections, from Tibetan and Aztec to the Amy Winehouse tribute, the exhibition had it all. 

Along with the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition we also visited the David Shrigley showcase, also at the NGV. The walls were filled with amusing yet thought provoking images and along with drawings there were also other artworks, statues, animations,etc. 

Both of us thoroughly enjoyed both exhibitions and are sad to see Gaultier's exhibition move back to Paris. However, the exhibition is still available till the 8th of February, i encourage you all to give it a visit! Find out more information here.
